Check Whether Your Business Is Ready for the EU AI Act
If your business uses AI tools, you may need to understand what systems are in use, what risk category they fall into, and what records or controls you should have in place. This free toolkit helps UK and EU businesses take a first practical step toward AI governance and EU AI Act readiness. No login. No sales pitch.
Use the tools to list the AI systems your business uses, understand their likely risk level, check what obligations may apply, and create starter documentation for internal review.
Compliance Tools
Four tools, designed to be used in order. Most businesses can complete a first pass in a few hours and come away with a clearer view of where AI is being used, what risk levels may apply, and what documentation needs further work.
Start with the AI InventoryAI System Inventory
Start here. Identify every AI tool your business uses across 10+ categories. The database maps your stack to the EU AI Act risk framework so you know exactly what you're dealing with.
Risk Classification
Once you know your AI tools, classify each one. Walk through a guided decision tree that tells you whether each system is Unacceptable, High, Limited, or Minimal risk - with direct article references.
Compliance Checklist
Now you know your risk levels, see exactly what's required. Get role-based obligations with deadlines, effort levels, and article references for Deployers, Providers, Importers, and Distributors.
Documentation Generator
Finally, generate the paperwork. Create skeleton Annex IV technical documentation for your high-risk systems. Download-ready markdown your team can fill in immediately.
Understanding Your Risk Level
The EU AI Act classifies AI systems into four risk tiers. Your obligations depend entirely on which tier your systems fall into.
Banned outright under the Act.
Social scoring, real-time biometric surveillance in public spaces, emotion recognition in workplaces or schools, and manipulative AI targeting vulnerable groups. If your business uses any of these, they must be discontinued.
Status: Banned immediately

Book a short AI Opportunity Review. We will look at what your team is doing manually, where your data lives, what tools you already use, and whether AI is worth applying. If there is a sensible opportunity, I'll explain what the next step should be. If there is not, I'll tell you that too.
